ASSEMBLAGES

The Rememory Library seeks neither accumulation, nor possession, nor spectacle, nor display. Rather it is an invitation to gather in mutual study and collaboration around clusters of ideas and provocations. Thus, these initial assemblages are those invited by students desiring to share in a common language for Black study, in particular those terms that they have most frequently encountered in their classrooms, homes, and readings. In the process of building these spaces, we recognized the overlap between featured terms, and chose not to repeat texts across assemblages. Instead, we urge you to think of these as in relation to one another - as continuities of one another - as edgeless. We welcome you to this gathering in mutual purpose and invite you to fill the many remaining seats at this assembly.
